The Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences will be known for Centre for Excellence of Earth and Environmental Sciences, inventive research and outreach that focus on the function of the environmental systems and interactions with the society.

Faculty members are actively engaged in teaching of updated courses in exploration Geophysics and Meteorology, Geology and Geography to postgraduate students, in carrying out field investigations and collaborative work with different government/ quasi-government organizations and in offering consultancy services to the interested agencies.
